NAME: Mimi Vaude ALIAS: BIRTHPLACE: Royal Capital OCCUPATION: Green Mantis
HAIR COLOR: Blue EYE COLOR: Silver GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Mimi is a rather beautiful young girl. Her pale skin, silver hair, and blue eyes make her almost appear like a porcelain doll. Being young, she is prone to blemishes, something that she mages quite well, due to a strict beauty routine that she has been partaking in over the past few months.
Moving into the Green Mantis base has caused her to have to limit her wardrobe, as the Vaude estate is one of the largest in the Kingdom.
Her clothes typically consist of comfort and utility over style. Not to say that she does not have pieces of clothing that would look well in more formal occasions. Being a noble, she owns a wide array of gowns and jewels, though most of these have been left at the family estate while she works as a Magic Knight.
Mimi, being blessed with the Spatial element that seems to run throughout her family’s bloodline, is not so motivated by military or political gains. No, from a young age Mimi has been more interested in dungeons and mana zones. She’s always had an interest in these rare and dangerous places. Often times when her family hosted guests that had been to these places, Mimi insisted on occupying their time with endless questions.
Her family would not allow her to just run off and go on such adventures, but they were keen on the idea of her joining the Magic Knights. Hoping she would land a role in the Silver Eagles or the Golden Dawn, as these were two squads that had the strongest ties to the Royalty. It was a shock to all when Mimi decided to go to Green Mantis, showing her family the flare of her rebellious ways. Mimi sought the thrill that she knew a squad on the outskirts of the Kingdom could give her.
It shortly after she joined the squad that she was introduced to Christof Jager. A man that had some unusual circumstances. After learning more about the man, the two of them agreed that they would aid each other in their quest for each of their own goals. It just so happened to coincide that they both had a thirst to enter the Grand Magic Zones and see what treasures laid there.
COMBAT STYLE: Mimi is a support mage 100%. Her magic is used to help move her allies around the field and if needed, escape. While she has an affinity towards restraining type spells, she typically does not use these too often due to her low durability skill and stamina. If she believes that the situation is too dangerous, she will leave the area immediately, taking allies if she can. Thanks to her element's oddity, Smoke, Mimi can make her portals act more like clouds of smoke or whisps of smoke rather than gates opening and closing. This gives her portals the option of being more three-dimensional rather than limited to the traditional gate method.
Name of Spell: White Rabbit: Gate Elemental Type: Spatial Rank & Spell Type: Junior | Supplementary [Transport] Range & Speed: 10 meters AoE + Area of Triumph’s Range | 10 m/s Mana Cost: 10 | 5 Sustained Stats Effected: +4 Control to Self while active Applicable Perks: Fast Lane and Element Oddity Description: Mimi pinches the tips of all her fingers on a single hand together, she sends out her spatial magic throughout the area. whenever she opens her fingers, she will open a portal as well. These portals can look like the traditional portals of spatial mages, or she can opt to have it become the White Rabbit version that Mimi has been so proud to perfect.
The White Rabbit version makes use of her oddity. This can create a cloud of smoke instead of a portal. Of course, a person would need the proper sensory to be able to see this cute alternative version. This also allows her portal to be placed in a more 3D manner, taking up a space of up to 5 cubic meters of space.
Once in the portal, she can opt to teleport to any of her markers, other portals, or escape from the thread entirely if so desires. Per 10 control she has, she can create an additional portal. If used on a spell or ability, Mimi can redirect the spell if she has control +10 than the opposing magic user’s power stat, lowering to only needing +5 at grand rank. Spells must be of equal rank to redirect.
Name of Spell: White Rabbit: Cage Elemental Type: Spatial Rank & Spell Type: Junior | Supplementary [Transport] + Restraint Range & Speed: 10 meters AoE + Area of Triumph’s Range | 10 m/s Mana Cost: 10 | 5 Sustained Stats Effected: -4 Power Applicable Perks: Snake Binding Elemental Oddity Description: Mimi causes a cloud of smoke to appear around an enemy, this causes them to slip into one of her pocket dimensions. While inside the pocket dimension, they will more or less float aimlessly through a smoke-filled space. While in this space they are free to use spells and such, though their allowed spell use is cut in half and they’ll notice a minor dip to their power stat. They will be trapped in there unless they have enough strength to break free. If they break free, they will reemerge exactly where they entered from. Mimi can alternatively open the portal up forcing the enemy to exit in the location that she desires.
A person would be unaware of her spell’s presence and formation unless they had adequate sensory skills to see beyond her spatial magic. Due to the nature of spatial magic, Mimi can do 1 of three ways to create these portals: She can open it directly in front of or around her, trapping close target enemies. She can send out her magic within the spell’s range. Once it reaches a location, she can open the portal instantly there. If Mimi has marked a location with another one of her spells and that marker is within range, Mimi can open the portal instantly on the marker.
Name of Spell: White Rabbit: Mark Elemental Type: Spatial Rank & Spell Type: Junior | Supplementary [Transport] Range & Speed: 10 meters AoE + Area of Triumph’s Range | 10 m/s Mana Cost: 10 | 5 Sustained Stats Effected: +4 Control to self while active Applicable Perks: Fast Lane Elemental Oddity Description: Mimi is able to send her mana throughout a space. When the mana reaches a target she may be interested in, she can place a White Rabbit marker there. These markers, if the person can see, appear to be a small white bunny rabbit symbol on them. As long as Mimi and the marker stay within the range of this spell, she can instantly open portals to and from those markers.
Enemies can destroy the marker by leaving the space, using another spatial/void spell to nullify it, or destroy it per supplementary creation damage rules. She can place an additional marker outside the first on somebody per 10 control she has
