With little thought of what was in her way and no thought on the complete lack of footing that the rain slick ground was going to give her now, Ulv ran. And she ran without stopping or looking back, into the deep night and all the horrors that such a place would hide. She knew something was going to go bad eventually, her parents had told her time and again never to go out after dark or she would be snatched up and never seen again. The rain-soaked hair plastering her head and ripped dress on the verge of falling off didn't help matters either.
Then, as if fate was not yet done with it's cruelty, she slipped on a wet patch and crashed into the mud. Covering her from head to toe in mud and splattering it everywhere. Here, she just sort of laid for a few moments, trying to cry. If she cried the whole thing would feel normal. It would feel like she was sad and this whole thing was a product of her current state of affairs, of the deep emotions in her heart. And it would feel like it would all be solved, in the end.
But she did not. All that happened as she laid there was a deep shivering cold seeping into her and settling deep in her bones. The night was going to take her, and there would be nothing come the morning to rescue her from this. Though, even now, she preferred where she was, to where she had been.

Wolfe stood motionless in the night flask n hand as the rain felling in a downpour around him. He had lost track of time at some point during the evening, all he knew was dusk had given way to night and with it had come the rain. He took another sip from his flask before screwing the cap back on and sliding it into the jacket pocket of his suit top. When had this become the "normal" for him? When had he finally given up hope completely? These questions echoed in his head as he stared into the darkness of the night. However, all the answers he could hear was the sound of the water rushing past under him below the small bridge he was standing on, and the rain as it poured down around him. The rain poured for what seemed like forever as he continued to just stand there and stare into the night. Alas, after some time the rain finally stopped but he still stood, a statue in the night, for some time before he finally moved and stepped back from the edge of the bridge and started to make his way into the night, his clothes still soaked and his hair wet and pinned to the side of his head.
Wolfe was slowly making his way down the darkened street as he had finally decided that it was about time to head back to the base, but still he knew he wasn't fully ready to return so he was taking the long way and found the longest path towards the edge of the city. As he walked he saw a moving figure some good distance ahead of him. He watched as the figured ran along closing the distance between them, but it almost seemed like they were so distanced with their surroundings that they didn't even notice Wolfe a good distance ahead of them. As they got a tiny but closer Wolfe was able to make out that it was a female, and from her look she was a bit worse for ware. However, before he would even have a chance to call out to her he watched as she slid, tripped, and fell to the ground in what looked like a huge mud puddle. He stopped as he watched to see what she did, but in fact she did nothing at all and he watched as she just laid there, as if she had knocked herself out or something but then he saw the small movements and realized she was actually awake she was just not getting up. He continued to watch as she didn't even try to get up or even move out of the mud puddle.
Finally after a shirt bit Wolfe started moving again as he closed the distance between himself and young girl on the ground. He walked up to the edge of the puddle on a couple of feet from her and came to a stop as he looked down at her. As he observed her he gathered this girl was still laying here cause she had given up completely. He wasn't sure on what, but he felt the emptiness, pain, and fear this girl radiated. As a man consumed by his own demons it was easy to see the same in another, and this girl obvious had demons of her own she was dealing with. After letting more than a few moments pass he finally opened his mouth to speak and give this girl some talk about faith and being able to do it, whatever she had been trying to do, but he had no place giving "that" talk. Instead he looked down at her as he spoke "Girl, gather yourself and stand. In another life i would have showered you with words of inspiration and determination but that is just bullshit. Obviously you fell and shit sucks. It always will.... but this is the moment when you get to decide if you are going to take life's shit and just lay there, or if you are going to tell fate to fuck off and die." His words were not inspiring nor were they the honest truth, plain and simple. He wondered if this girl had totally given up like himself or if she had any fight left in her.

Someone came up to her after a short while of laying in the mud, but it was neither the suitor, her parents, or the servants. Instead, it seemed a drunken vagabond of sorts, who came to give the word's worst speech to inspire her to get up and carry on with life. It managed to motivate her enough to sit up and look at him, the mud being washed pretty quickly by the downpour, letting him see her face and clothes. Even in such a state, there was a clear air of cultured beauty about her, as if the natural attractiveness had been encouraged and reinforced by many years of care.
Though ripped and now muddy, her clothes were still clearly high quality, and her bright, vibrant red hair defied the night and radiated a crimson call, even slick and plastered to her head by the rain as it was. "What's the point in moving? I've got no home, no money, no support, and only a useless grimiore to help me" It took Ulv a while to stammer out the words from the shivering her frozen body was going through, but she eventually managed it, and got to the end, where a large golden book was brought into existence.
"There is no spell in here to help me, and the Blue Roses won't take me now. Why would I push on for the sake of pushing on? Do you have a reason for me to keep going?" she looked up to him and though it seemed like she was going to shake herself out of the dress with her shivering, she gave off a laugh. Not a mirthful one but one only able to be given voice in such deep despair as she was right now.
"Besides. You don't look like you've got a reason for yourself. So how would you for others?"

Wolfe listened as the girl spoke and her words rang in his head as he thought about how this girl must feel, but the reality was the world was harsh. It didn't care care about gender, age, sex, or anything else. In the end the world, and life itself, were cold and vicious and if you wanted anything, even happiness, you needed to take it for yourself. He knew his views were tainted slightly by the recent events he had gone through but the truth of it was no less true, and no less harsher.
Wolfe lowered himself down as he bent his knees and crouched down. He slightly tilted his head and and despite his best efforts he gave a slight smirk at the young girl before he spoke Your right girl, i don't have a reason. I know my pep talk must be the worst one ever right?... Well that is cause it isn't a pep-talk. Pep-talks, and speeches are what weak people need to be inspired to deal with the issues in front of them. The ones with true strength don't need that false hope. They see the damn issues in front of them and they rip through those issues and take what they want.... your also right about about your losses, i wouldn't know that feeling. I was born an orphan in a small village that doesn't exist anymore, so i cant relate. I only recently realized i lost more than half a decade to magical coma, and amnesia, and had to bury 5 empty coffins because their are no bodies left to fill them with... So yeah, your right kid i don't know how you feel." As he finished that part he moved his right hand and swiped his jacket on his right to the side revealing his Grimoire on his side in a leather holder. He pulled it out and held it in front of her, as he did black lightning began to swirl around it "Ohh and this, don't worry it is only cursed and every time i let myself slip and fall into a weak and depressed state i can hear it call to me and try and push me to perform atrocious acts of darkness. No biggie.. oh and.. as he finished his statement he suddenly hurled the book off to the right into the darkness "don't worry that will be back by morning, good as new" Wolfe just shook his head a little as he stood up and looked back down at her again.
There was a moment as he took a deep breath and his mind rolled over all the things he was saying to her. Normally he would never be this forthcoming with any of this but something in watching this girl give up sparked a flame of anger in him. His life had bee nothing but a constant fight to just not die in a flood of shitty circumstances and he has always been given the short end of the stick, if he even got a stick sometimes. He was about to turn and walk away when he spoke again, the words seeming to roll out of his mouth before he even realized it "Life is not simple or easy. It is hard, it sucks, and it will kick you every chance it gets... if you want anything... anything at all... even something as simple as happiness, you need to reach out and take it." His own words shocked him a a little as they were words once spoken to him as a youth and he repeated through the years. A nugget of truth and wisdom he had forgotten in the mess of everything and it made him wonder if these words had finally been lost on himself.
There was another moment before she shook his head "Ohh and why the Roses? cause it is full of "pretty" women? psshh, Lazuli isn't anything impressive, trust me. All she seems to focus on lately is talking shit to me at the meetings. truthfully it is getting old real quick. She has to have better things to do then insult me" his face tilted to the side as she looked off into the distance slightly "you know what i mean? i mean damn woman.... i hit on you like 1 time and that was like a year ago... you got to let shit go..." Wolfe's speech seemed to shift from a dark tone to one of a slightly lighter note. He seemed to almost be talking to himself at that point.

The guy began to speak about everything that had gone wrong in his life. Which, was obviously more considering he was like, five times older than her or something. Plus she was a noble, raised in grandeur and fed with a silver spoon. Maybe that was the problem she was running into right now. Nothing had gone wrong for her, every time it nearly did, she had someone there to fix it for her before she even realised it was going wrong. "Mine was, and that's the trouble. Simple and easy and gentle. I had everything given to me. There were never problems for sixteen years of my life. The last three were not even problems, as such. Just more active than I had been before. Except for the guys, my family seemed to find the sleaziest bastards they could and just kept getting worse. That was the problem. Studying healing was fine. I don't have talent for it but I like reading and learning, so I could handle studying all day.
Guys treating me like I was a cow at the market was what I couldn't handle. And then they finally got to the one who had no morals at all and..." she paused, and despite her rather broad figure and powerful grimoire, in that moment she appeared just a woman who had barely crossed the threshold of adulthood, with the same lacking maturity of nobles all over. She shivered, and not due to the weather. It was clear that this was the first Problem she had ever ran into in her life. And almost making up for the lack of quantity with quality and scale.
So when she heard him talking about something else, she seized the opportunity to punch the oncoming panic attack in the gut and looked to him. "Roses is where every Noblewoman wants to go. So clearly, mothers send their daughters there so they can get the satisfaction of being there. I'm not exactly the demure delicate flower type of girl but they wanted me to be there so that was were I was going to be"

Wolfe was about to walk off figuring her to be a lost cause when she started to speak. As he listened to her words he heard it, she was starting to ponder over her own circumstances and realizing that she had just been given an easy life and she was weak for it. He knew this moment, he had seen it before. This was the moment when someone like her fell one of two ways, either they fell backwards and back into that life hoping nothing would ever change, or sometimes they made the leap and grabbed life and made something of it and of themselves and forged their own way. He stopped and turned back to her. He took a few steps closing the gap between them before he leaned down again do he was only about a foot from her as he looked at her "Ahhh, I see you finally get it. Now the real question is what are you going to do about it? Fall back into that life and give up and let everyone makes your choices for you, or do you take your life into your own hands and forge your own life? The latter is harder, much harder and you WILL fail but you get back up and fucking do it again." As the words poured out of his mouth his own life started to play in his mind and he realized he was wasn't even living up to his own words. Maybe this girl was a sign, maybe he needed this scene more than she did, maybe just maybe..... He continued "The first choice is definitely one that a Rose would make, but if you pick the latter choice, then maybe your not a Rose, maybe you might just be a Bull." He smirked at her as he spoke the final word of his statement.
He stood up and took a step back as he raised his right hand above his head, palm facing up. Suddenly there was a brilliant light as a bolt of black lighting shot up from his hand into the air. Even though the bolt was black it still had a bright aura about it, and once it was a good ways in the air it exploded making a huge scene. "Now comes the chance for you to make your choice. The guards will have seen that, no question. You can stay here, and shortly they will arrive and help you and you can go back to your old life and fall back into place and try again for the Roses later, or you can pick yourself up, get out of here before they get here and fix your own damn issues. If you pick the latter then find your way to Sosshi. You will find a forest on the outskirts of the town. Once there you will find what you are looking for in the forest area. If you do find your way then i will know what you are made of and so will you. Now, lets see what you are made of" As he finished speaking he began to step backwards and in a few moments he was gone, lost into the darkness that surrounded them. He had left her with two choices, now it was time for her to pick for the first time what she wanted for herself and her life.

"Turned my husband to be into a hamburger. He will be on slurries the rest of his life after what I did to him. So, unfortunately, falling back into my old life would be akin to falling into a pit of sharks with spikes growing out of them. So my decision has been made for me, unfortunately" Ulv shrugged and stood. Either she had just broken a little inside, or she had always been a woman who had a bit of disassembly to her, because she seemed to swing radically between the world crushing her and the world...not really crushing her all that much.
Then, he made a massive krakaboom that would call in the guardsmen to where they were with the whole 'what's going on here then aye?' thing, which made Ulv rather angry. "Help? I'd be lucky to get away with being arrested after what I've just done! Ya, frigging, git!" Ulv shouted as he started to fade into the dark. Ulv didn't quite have the same kind of dark lightning teleporting powers, but she did have some basic powers of her own. Opening the Grimoire and casting her spell, lightning crackled around her body and enhanced her so she was capable of outrunning most humans.
From there, she made her way to Sosshi. She maintained her spell as much as she could, but eventually she just ran out of steam entirely and had to run normally. She was only a junior, after all, so didn't have a great deal of Mana to call her own, nor a swift recovery.

After fading into the darkness Wolfe instantly cast his spell allowing him to take to the air. He didn't know why but he was really invested in seeing what this girl did. Not because any weird reason but each time he let his mind slip even for a moment he could see flash backs of his life before the Bulls. As he had been speaking to her he realized he was not just failing to live by his own words but he was failing to live by her standards as well. She had given him a home, a purpose, and a life and here he was trying to basically kill himself. Wolfe realized he needed to push these thoughts back and focus.
He watched as the girl picked herself up and using lightning magic of all things she used a spell to increase her speed as she took off into the night. Wolfe kept to the air and a good distance as he followed her into the night as she made her way towards Sosshi. As he followed he had to give some credit as she pushed herself and pushed her increased speed till the last moment and she had nothing left to give. Most people would have taken their time, or at least their own pace, but this girl seemed determined to get there as quickly as possible.
He stayed with her and continued to watch until she reached Sosshi at which time he parted from her and made his way straight to the base.
As he reached the base he descended to the ground and landed out front of the base. As he did he looked over to see one of his Bulls sitting under a nearby tree on a bench with a book in her hands. She looked up at him as he landed and shook her head and began to look down at her book again. Wolfe knew why she hadn't even bother to say hi. She was one of the more prominent members of the squad and had been there even before Wolfe. She had always been the Bull's primary sensory mage, and knowledge pool. She had been close to Kuroko, but since Wolfe had taken over she had pulled away from him. He remembered when he first joined the squad she had been one of the first to welcome him and they had become close, even dating for a short time. However, Wolfe broke up with her because I did want to hurt her back in the day because he knew she was too good for him. Since he had regained his memory he saw the pain in her eyes as Wolfe worked on drinking himself to a early grave.
Wolfe stopped and turned as he made his way over to her. As he reached her she looked up again and in a slightly angry voice she started ”What do you wan...” her voice trailed off as Wolfe took a knee and reached out and took one of her hands into his and he kissed it. As he pulled his lips from her hand he looked up to her gaze ”I am sorry hun. I am so sorry. You deserve this more than most. I swear things are going to change.” He stood up and leaned in and placed a kiss on her cheek and then pulled away and smiled at her. He released her had as he stepped back ”Please wait for our new bull, she should be here soon. Once she arrives please bring her to.. my.. office, thank you Rayne.” As he finished he saw a glimmer in her eyes for the first time in a long time. He then turned and made his way into the base and to his office.
Once in the office he made his way to the chair and sat down. He then began to look around and noticed the mess. He knew he could fix it and clean it up but he couldn't bring himself to do it. This was what she had left behind and in his love for her he swore he would keep the Bulls alive in the image she had continued when she took over. He had failed her and the Bulls for too long and as he looked around he realized just how much that truly was.
As he sat back he realized that this girl had given him a glimpse into the past he had forgotten but needed to be reminded of. So now all he had to do was wait and see if she decided to take the final step and make her way to the Bull's base.

Maintaining a spell was easier than starting it, but that didn't mean she was capable of keeping it going forever. She needed a lot more practice before that was ever going to be a thing. Maybe she'd work on her magic powers later? If she had better control over her powers and a stronger net of such, she'd be able to maintain a simple spell like this indefinitely. It would really help with running away from a city where you had just committed a serious crime, after all. Who would have thought she'd be doing something like that? Certainly not her...
When her mana ran out, she was forced to slow down, and that let her appreciate the secenry some more. She had never really been out of the town, content to be treated like the noblewoman she was, to play around with the boys and gossip with the girls. And then when her Grimoire came, she didn't have the time, barely had it to leave the house, let alone the city. But, now she saw it. Sure, black and dark and cold and kind of scary, but at the same time there was an elegant majesty of wonder to it all. Things she had never seen, things she had never heard of. Things that she could only imagine, staring idly out of the window.
Here, there was no thoughts of being married off, of joining the Roses, of having her life laid out in front of her with no choice but what others told her to do. Here, was freedom, it was an elating sort of feeling that Ulv couldn't help but love. To take in and let it all wash away the troubles like water over the rocks.
Eventually, the massive, extensive running got her to where she was going, with a woman who was waiting for her. There wasn't much conversation between the scruffy sweating beggar covered in mud and the woman out front that Ulv had no idea about, but she did bring her to an office. Clearly they were expecting her or something like that because there was no surprise. Ulv just turned up, and the woman took her were she needed to be. It was a nice, streamlined process, which was why she was surprised to see the moody gloom man in charge of it all.
"Ohh, it's you. So? What was the point in running all the way here?"
Wolfe was looking at a paper involving some of the information from the captain's meeting he had walked out of. Looking back, it wasn't his brightest moment, but even if he had acted out a bit too much, the fact of the matter was he truly felt the way he had expressed. However, now was not the time to focus on that as he knew the girl would be showing up sooner rather than later.
It wasn't took much longer before he heard the sounds of Rayne's voice and looked up to see Rayne standing at the doorway along with the girl. Wolfe gave a half smile as he motioned for her to take a seat in the chair in front of the desk. As he did he thanked Rayne and she nodded before disappearing into the hallway leaving only the two of them alone in the office. Wolfe looked her over for a second and again he had a flash vision of a memory and he saw himself sitting right where she was years before, and Kuroko sitting in the chair he now occupied. It had been slightly different as he had been completely naked, but otherwise this scene reminded him of that very memory and what it meant to him. IT took a second as he shifted back into the moment and focused on her "Well it seems you did find your way here. Congratulations as i know it wasn't a short trip here, and you actually made it in fairly decent time." He leaned forward in his chair and placed the paper face down to the side on the desk and he continued "I would hope you have noticed you are currently sitting inside of the base of the Black Bulls." He nodded to his right at the decent sized flag on the wall with the Black Bulls symbol on it "Obvious as you wanted to try for the Roses, i don't have to explain the Magic Knights and what we do. The truth is you aren't a Rose. If you came here, and made that choice then you want to take your like into your own hands. Even though our circumstances are and were very different, the reason i sat in that very chair years ago was the same, and so was what i needed. Kuroko offered me a home, family, a place to fit in and most of all a purpose that i could decide and forge on my own. You are here cause you are a Bull. If you weren't you wouldn't have come. So, here is your moment to decide what you want and take control of your future. What do you say?" Wolfe leaned back in his chair and crossed his arm's across his chest as he waited for her answer.

Ulv listened to the man, nodding softly to his words as he spoke. It wasn't a surprise he was in command of the Black Bulls. That seemed to just fit, really. He spoke pretty confidently, there was none of the groan that he had in his voice before. He sounded and really kind of acted like a Knight-Captain. Place around him was a mess, but maybe he just thought of more important things than keeping the place tidy. Ulv's own room didn't have the best sort of look to it if the servants didn't get to it. Though he did like his strange way of giving a pep talk, and calling her a Bull. Which, sure she was a broad woman but it was rude to just....wait, ohh...he meant the squad.
"You sat here because your parents tried to marry you off and you took offence to the man's forward nature? That, is surprising. But, you are right on the wanting to join. I need somewhere to be and you seem willing to accept me despite everything" Ulv replied, before she crossed her arms and scowled at him.
"Though I am going to punch you in the head for just dropping me in it like that. We could have had the conversation back then. Or at least a little bit of the conversation rather than forcing me to get out of the town at a sprint right after I just told you I needed to lay low because of what had just happened. that was certainly not cool. I accept your offer so long as you aren't going to do something like that again" she finished with a scowl. Clearly she wasn't a woman who would hold back on her words at all or try to sugar coat anything. She said it how it was, and that was all there was to Ulv. As blunt as a sledgehammer.
Wolfe didn't say anything as he listened to her and what she had to say. It was obvious this girl had some fight in her, but he realized that the moment she decided to take off into the night and head for Sosshi. The truth was if her family really was of noble name, then she truly didn't have as much to worry about then she thought. It was common for stuff like what she had done to be swept under the rug by more powerful families. However, she didn't know this and in her moment she chose this path and that meant she was willing to pick the harder path and that was all that mattered.
Wolfe smirked at her as reached his right hand down to the drawer to his side and opened it. He broe eye contact for a moment as he looked down and to the right to see a glass bottle and 2 glass cups in the drawer. There was a moment as he thought back to when he had sat where she was now, and Kuroko sat in the very seat he sat in now and pulled this bottle and cups out and shared a drink with him many years ago. It was a memory that he thought about from time to time as he thought about everything he lost and how he had gotten to where he was today. Just like she had done with him he decided to do with this woman here. This was the moment he was going to do this, be the man Kuroko saw in him, the leader they deserved of him, and Knight his comrades wanted from him.
Wolfe reached into the drawer and pulled the bottle out and placed it on the desk in front of him and then grabbed the glasses and placed them in front of him as well. He then pulled the cork from the glass bottle and poured some of the liquid into both cups. Once he was done he placed the bottle back on the desk and then slid one of the cups across the desk towards her "Here, drink this." He pulled his hand back and grabbed the glass in front of him. He knew exactly what the drink was and what to expect from it. Kuroko had once told him that of all the people she had ever shared this drink with he was only one of two people besides himself to not be knocked out the chair by it. It was arguably the of the strongest alcohols ever made in the kingdom. It was a hard liqueur infused with pure mana and meant to mess up anyone dumb enough to drink it. In her time as the captain she had made it a point to share a cup with those that she deemed worthy and those she recruited on her own, such as himself. Now he intended to continue the tradition starting with her.
He took a sip from the drink and felt as it hit him like a pile of bricks to the face, but like years ago he was so used to drinking that he was able to drink it without getting hit by the sheer power of the liqueur. As he pulled the cup from his lips he spoke again "Well, here is the ordeal. First and foremost, once you join, you will be a bull, forever and always. Second, i will ALWAYS be a thorn in your side, kind of my thing and job. As for before, the truth is you would have been fine, but you needed to make the choice on your own. So i left you with option to make that choice.... Years ago when i sat there, i had fucked up too. However, that isn't important. What is, is that you stop fucking up and do something with yourself." He placed the glass on the table and he reached his left hand down and opened the drawer to his left and pulled a Black Bull mantle out from it and then closed it. He then looked at her and tossed the mantle at her to catch "Once you put that on, i better never see you without it on. Ohh and another heads up, I will end up doing something like that again, don't you worry about that, but i am sure you will give me hell when i do, or else you wouldn't be a Bull" He smirked at her as he expected some kind of smart ass remark from her.

Sitting back and looking at him pour some liquor into a glass, Ulv gave a light scowl and would lean forward to take both of the glasses off him before he would drink out of either of them. "You do not need any more of that" she told him, putting them both to one side away from the man's reach. He seemed to have some sort of idea about what Nobles got up to behind the curtains and was adamant that they were right regardless of what the actual truth was. That kind of person could range from annoying to downright dangerous depending on the situation. Though he didn't seem dangerous, so clearly falling on the line of annoying. For now.
"And yes, too a point. Nobles certainly seem far more resilient to repercussion than others do. But that is before you cross lines that you must never cross. One way to lose everything in an instant, is to mess with a Noble's money" She told him, leaning back and shaking her wet hair out so it would dry better. The glittering crimson mashed with the shoddy, uneven cut she had and made a most strange picture for a person to look at. One side, she was a beautiful woman who could start a fire in a man's heart with a smile. The other side, looked like a shoddily kept beggar woman cursed with looks and no way to keep them.
"I should explain. There is a lot that goes on that people don't see, or misinterpret if they do see. You think Nobles are all nice and friendly people because they have silk dresses and laugh at balls but...they are vicious little shits when it comes to staying rich and getting richer. For a woman like me, you have about 16 years of freedom to do what you want. So long as the crimes aren't massive and you keep your virginity, you have free rein on the world. Then your 16th birthday passes and your parents start to look for suitors. The marriage isn't the point, the dowry is, so you gotta look presentable and keep out of trouble while they are looking.
Once they find this suitor, you are sold off to this stranger you've met once and are expected to be obedient, demure, and elegant in all things. Family has sold you off, so they are done with you and you are at the mercy of how your new family treat you. Luck of the draw on this. Sometimes you get a nice family that treat you right. Other times you get a family that is a bit standoffish and you gotta spend some time making your presence known so you can actually fit in.
This, is mostly if you manage to get a good one right away. The longer the suitor business draws out, the longer you are at risk of getting into the more, unelegant side of Nobility. Between the radical pressure to learn magic and the being treated like a cow on the market with no degree of the usual subtlety, this unelegant side was were I was leaning into. You hear tales of noblewoman who get harshly abused by their spouses. Treated like indentured slaves, used as breeding mares, passed around their husband's friends and forced to hide all their bruises with makeup when they are out. If you get one that lets you out at all.
So, in closing, no. If the guards had got me, I would be going to my wedding in chains, and then locked in a house with a guy who was..." she paused for a few moments, her eyes trembled, her breathing hitched and the thought of repercussions that would come in the future. So she took radical action against it and took a swig of the drink to drive back the oncoming panic attack or fit of rage or fit of panicked rage. None of the three would go down well here.
Immediately, she gagged and spluttered, coughing her heart out and rasping as the harsh drink ripped at her body. It was a physically robust one, so she had plenty of body to soak the alcohol, but it still hit her like a truck. "Awahwawawa" Ulv croaked, her throat ripped raw from the alcohol. A bit of lightning crackled around her body and then, she seemed better again. "Why would someone drink that stuff?! Just gargle razors! It has the same effect!" she exclaimed, screaming at the glass before putting it down and shaking her head.
"Madness, honestly" Ulv then looked up, and took the mantle that was tossed to her, putting it on and nodding softly at it. "If you do see me without it on, I will be in the shower, and you will get another punch in the head for peeping on me. I will make a list, and keep accurate count of how many you need. They shall come without warning or hesitation, when you least expect them" Ulv nodded to herself vigerously, before letting her tattered remains of a dress finally fall down, being covered by nothing but her keks and the mantle.

Wolfe watched as she leaned over and snagged the cup from him and pulled it out of his reach and scolded him for not needing any more of alcohol. He smirked at her as the first thing that crossed his mind was Kuroko. She had always been strict and the first one to drop one of her squad on their head for fucking up, but no one was more protective of their squad members as her either. Over the years she had gained the title of "Mother Bull" which suited her too well. This woman in front of him felt like someone that once she had time to adjust and bond with those around her, she might be something of the same.
As he was thinking about Kuroko and how the woman in front of her had some common ground his attention was brought back to the moment as she started to explain from her side how the noble society worked and what it meant to be a young woman in that world of power, money, and influence. Wolfe didn't interrupt her or even try to add or correct anything she said as he just listened and waited for her to finish. As he listened he leaned back and nestled into his chair as he interlocked his fingers and let his hands rest of his chest.
Wolfe kept his composure up till the moment she took a sip of the drink and about coughed her chest up at which point he couldn't hold back anymore and started to laugh a little. He knew she would get pissed but he couldn't help it. As he laughed he stood up and walked around the desk and as he turned the corner so he was in front of the desk and slightly in front of her he reached and grabbed the glass but instead of drinkig it, he poured it into the other glass emptying his glass and placing it back on the table. He then smiled as he pulled out his flask and opened it and poured it's full contents into his glass, almost filling it. As he poured the last of it, it was obvious that the flask was empty. He then closed the flask and screwed the top back on, but then after only after about 2 seconds or so he opened the flask again and started pouring more liquor into the cup as it it was full again. Just before the cup was completely full he stopped and closed the flask again before putting it back into his jacket and sliding the glass towards the center edge of the desk so it was within her reach "Try that instead, It is not nearly as rough. The one i gave you before belonged to my predecessor Kuroko. She was an amazing woman and squad leader, but she was tough as nails and not someone to fuck with. She used to drink that on rare occasions and in her entire time serving as Captain of the Bulls she only ever found 2 people besides her that could handle that drink. One of which being the former Captain of the Lions, Lysander...." Wolfe looked at the other glass full of the liquor he had poured from the glass bottle for a few seconds in silence before he spoke again "May both their souls rest in peace now... but...that is not the point He turned to look back at her as he continued "I will give you this one... i really don't need that. I have drank enough to kill most people a few times over... However, don't push your luck too mush again in the future. If i thought you were just someone that fell in line and wouldn't fight back i wouldn't have even paid you a second's worth of time back on that street... and just a heads up, i know i must come across as some sort of questionable something or another to you, but let me remind you, i am a Captain of a squad, and for good reason. I know my way around Clover, and in some ways, many actually, you aren't wrong. I am just a no name commoner from a village that doesn't even exist anymore. However, the workings of the rich and powerful nobles are not something i am ignorant to. If you remember from before i mentioned a series of empty coffins yes? Well two of them belonged to Vermillions... one was my former best friend, and the other a former lover. I know the working of the nobles better than you might think." Wolfe then turned and walked back around to sit in his chair.
As he sat down he looked her up and down one time as she was now down to her keks and the mantle he had tossed her. A few years ago he would have been on top of her and hitting on her before her tattered dress had even hit the ground but now... things were different.... for far too many reasons "Ohh and please don't go acting like i am some kind of pervert ok? i wont lie, a few years ago i would have hit on you at least 5 times by now. However, that is a lifetime ago, the worst thing you will have to deal with is a few of the Bulls around here have tendencies to roam naked after showers. Don't ask." Wolfe neglected to add that he was one such person. It was about this moment that he realized something important [color-yellow]"Ohh and before i forget, what is your name. During all of this i don't think i once actually caught your name. If i didn't mention it already, you may call me Wolfe.[/color] He half expected some smart ass remark about his name, but he waited to see what she had to say.

Listening to the man talk about his booze and his now-gone perversions, Ulv would lock onto one point of it and stare at him. He knew what was going on behind the curtain, and still made it out like nothing was going to happen to her? Ulv felt a deep flaming heat burn in her chest and a small crackle of lightning danced across her body before she grabbed the desk and hefted it into the wall. She was a buff girl and hefting a desk was not outside her capabilities before being enhanced with magic, so afterwards it was like throwing a baseball.
"You knew? You knew?! And you still tried to pass the whole thing off as if nothing was going to happen if I stayed there?! I was fine with it being ignorance of the repercussions, but you knew them and LIED TO ME! What would have happened if I didn't know what was going to happen if I went back? You'd just shrug and say 'ohh, just another dead noblewoman, no great loss' and get on with the day? If I can't trust you with what I do know, how can I trust you with what I don't?!" Ulv was a very loud woman when she wanted to be, and the desk probably didn't make a soft noise either. And with that Ulv turned to storm out of the room and leave him. Maybe later she'd talk better but right now she was steaming in fury and didn't want to interact with the source of it.
