It was an interesting place; a market town in the Common Region, a major trading center for both the mundane and exotic. Of course, it also had it’s more...underhanded dealings, but beyond knowing possible locations where that stuff would go down (in order to better steer clear of such things, as that would be bad to her as of yet non-existent reputation) Clara contained herself mostly to the public market.
It was around noon when she arrived, a hot and humid summer day that had her stick to the shade of the buildings as she looked for some kind of café or bar to slip into before she melted into a liquid mess.
Clara found that glorious respite in a café, a moderately sized building that had these glowing blue crystals that gave off that wonderful wave of coolness throughout the interior of the building. She slipped in with a sigh of relief, looking around at the modest shop before approaching the counter and the café owner- a slight man who wore glasses and had a soft smile that was upturned into an amused smirk. “It’s a pretty hot day out, isn’t it?” The man said with humor in his voice, causing Clara to give a non-committal glare in his direction. He laughed it off instead asking, “What’ll you have?”
“Something sweet and cold...please.” Clara groaned out, exhausted from both her trip to the town and the oppressive summer heat. “Something sweet and cold, coming right up.”
Clara nodded thankfully before slogging over to a nearby table and sagging onto it, her head on the table. ‘Oh man, this man is a genius. Enchanting crystals with ice magic? What a wonderful idea.’ She thought to herself, not really sure or really caring if it was a new thing or not- it was new and novel to her, so it didn’t matter.
She basked in the wonderful cold feeling for a couple of moments before the man came along, a tall glass of ice cream with a chocolate topping and a spoon. Clara looked at the glass like a dehydrated man looked at water in a desert and took out a handful of coins to give to the man.
Transaction complete, she dug in, moaning a little at the taste and chill of the ice cream. ‘This is heaven. Why be a Magic Knight when I can just revisit this moment forever?’ She thought to herself as she enjoyed the desert. ‘I hate summer. Why does it exist?’

[attr="class","lilithstonetext"] Lillith had decided that she would take a break from all the missions she was doing. After everyone needed a break from time to time. She was staying at Kikka after the last one she did. It was a nice day other than the fact it was super hot outside. Lilly's favorite season was fall with all the different colored leafs not to mention it wasn't to hot or cold. Not that the cold was ever a problem due to her explosion magic to help keep her warm. She would start to walk around town looking at the shops and food places but she quickly found out she would need something better suited for the summer heat.
Her current outfit just held in to much heat so the crimson haired girl felt like she was dying from the heat. It wouldn't be to hard to find a clothing store after all Kikka was a market down. Sure it didn't have the quality of items one would find in the noble region but that didn't matter to Lillith. She would set off to find a store that sold summer cloths that she might wear. It didn't take her long to find one and she would step inside a wave of cool air hitting her face. After about twenty minutes of looking she'd finally find an outfit that fit her liking. She would head back to her inn room and change into it.
The outfit was a simple pair of red shorts and matching red tank top. Lilly would then head back outside to look at more shops. She didn't plan on buying anything but there was nothing else to do in a market down. As she was walking around she would stop at one of the food stands and grab something to eat. By the time it was noon the sun was beating down the town making it even hotter than it already was. She would stay outside for a few minutes longer before finding a tavern to get a drink. The gemstone mage would find one heading inside and getting out of the heat. As soon as Lilly enter she would let out a sigh of relief as the cold air hit her skin.
She would walk up to the owner who was the one severing drinks and order a cup of water. The place was packed it was most likely the most popular one in the town so it would take a free minutes for her to get the drink. Her emerald eye would then look around for a spot to sit but all of the seats were full. Lilly's eyes would land on a table that only had one person sitting at it. They looked to be the same age as Lillith and had platinum blonde hair and a pale skin tone. Well here goes nothing the gemstone mage would say to herself. "Excuse me but do you mind if I sit here as well?" Lillith would then give the girl a friendly smile as she waited for a answer.

Back in Kikka again it seemed. Riley was here to visit Ramzes, a boy he met while he was doing one of his missions. He told the Orca he’d be back again another time to have fun in the city. Now seemed to be that time, only….. Riley was way too early. Most of the festivities that the other teen described only took place during nighttime in the city. Either way, while he was here he’d just have to find something to do while he waited. Then again, the more the water mage thought about it, waiting outside didn’t seem like such a great idea. The sun was beating down on him more than usual today. “Yeah nope, not doing this.” he said to himself. He had to find somewhere to go and get something to drink. After all, he wasn’t going to last too much longer out in the sun. That’s when he spotted a familiar face. “Wait really? What’s she here for?” the boy asked. Last time he’d seen Lillith was back in Hage after they took on the group of wolves that seemed to be giving the villagers trouble. Now, here she was in Kikka of all places, and she was even dressed a little differently than normal. “Guess I wasn’t the only one who got sick of the heat.” the teen said to himself with a slight laugh. He watched as she seemed to enter some sort of tavern. The teen shrugged and headed in that same direction. [break][break] He entered the tavern and smiled, feeling the cool air up against his skin. Needless to say, it felt much better inside than it did outside. Exactly what the Silva was expecting. He went up to the bar and took a look at the amount of people there were. It wasn’t the easiest thing, but it wasn’t like pulling the ‘noble’ card was going to help him in this situation either. The silver-haired mage had to push his way to the counter in order to get what he wanted. It was definitely a more violent experience than what Riley would’ve liked, but with extreme luck, he escaped without anything more than a scratch on his temple from someone trying to push his head down. He sighed as he walked away from the hectic bartop, taking a sip of his well-earned drink. “Well that was a nightmare.” he said, exhausted from trying so hard. He had never worked so hard in his life for a glass of water. Though the rest of the tavern was less crowded than the bar was, it was still very clear that the place had plenty of business. All of the seats seemed to be full. Riley looked around for Lillith and figured he would just sit with her. However, when he found the girl and saw who she was with, he was a bit confused. The Silva approached the two girls with a smile. “Hey you two. I didn’t know you knew each other.” he said, laughing a bit. [break][break] WC: 506|TWC: 506|ClaraLillith Stone
Clara was reluctantly brought out of her reverie by a girl’s voice. It belonged to a girl about the same age as her, and although she couldn’t really tell her size from sitting down, she did look close to as tall as Clara herself was. She scooted over a bit, before gesturing her to sit down. “No, go ahead. Don’t mind me.” Clara said politely.
She’d let the quiet settle for a moment, taking another spoonful of her ice cream before turning over to her. “Bit of a hot day, ‘innit?” She asked the girl with a crooked grin. It was the kind of sweltering heat that melted you if you weren’t careful, and made you rue the season even if you were. Clara had always lived near the mountains, so she had never really had to get used to such heat, but there was always at least one or two days that proved her wrong.
It was only a few moments later before she heard a familiar voice and was approached by a familiar face. By how he looked so surprised, Clara guessed that Riley thought she knew this girl. Clara shook her head to answer him. “Nah, Riley.” Clara waved the question off. “She just sat down next to me. It’s been a while, hasn’t it?” She asked him as she gestured to him to sit down.
“So what have you been up to, recently?” Clara asked with a smile, taking a bite out of another spoonful of ice cream...

[attr="class","lilithstonetext"] As Lilly asked if she would sit at the table to girl would look up at before scooting over and telling the crimson haired girl that she could sit with her. She would sit town next to the girl and begin drinking her water. The girl would then make a comment about how hot it was outside. 'Yup that's the problem with summer it's always to hot unless it's raining. That's what's so good about fall it's not to hot or to cold." A few moments after speaking Riley would show up and say that he didn't know that the two girls knew each other. "Well if it isn't everyone's favorite Silver eagle like she said we don't know each other as you can see this is the only table that isn't full."
Lillith would then wait for the water mage to sit down taking another drink of her water before speaking again. "So Riley what are you doing here shouldn't you be doing magic knight things? Don't get me wrong it good to see you again and I'm glad you have done anything dumb and got yourself killed. Lilly would then turn to the blonde haired girl sitting next to her."Oh I'm sorry I never gave you my name it's Lillith Stone and well it seems like you already know Riley

As he approached the two girls Clara was the first to greet him. She told him that Lillith just showed up and asked to sit next to her. The Silva nodded as Lillith also greeted him. He laughed a bit at the redhead’s choice of words in her greeting. Not necessarily laughing at her choice of words, but just at the fact that it made him realize that people were going to start treating him differently now that he was a knight. He’d be getting a bit more attention, and whether he enjoyed it or not would still remain to be seen. Though Lillith did have a point. He looked around and sighed, “Yeah this place is completely full today.” he mentioned. The Silva took a seat as Clara gestured for him to do so. Riley laughed a little at Lillith’s question. “I mean hey, believe it or not this is technically magic knight stuff. I’m uh… patrolling places that have a lot of people to make sure they aren’t causing trouble.” he said with a nod and an accomplished smile. “But to be completely honest…. Well, recently I haven’t really been doing much. I went on a small mission a few days ago with this really interesting Purple Orca guy I met who’s also around our age. He invited me back to Kikka whenever for us to hang out and have some fun so I decided to take him up on that offer. Though he did say that it’d have to be a bit later so I guess I’m just a little early, but at least that gave me the chance to run into you two.” the water mage explained with a smile. [break][break] “Oh right, and you might not want to hold your breath on that last bit Lilly. I’m a very dangerous man ya know.” the Silva added with a bit of a laugh. “But yeah it’s good to see you again too.” he added with a smile. She then went on to introduce herself to Clara. The eagle gave a bit of a wave when she mentioned his name. He had already met Clara right after the exams ended. Isaac too, but he seemed like he had a lot on his plate at the time. Hopefully the dude was doing alright. “Mkay so my turn… what are the two of you doing here besides trying to avoid melting?” he asked them. [break][break] WC: 404|TWC: 910|ClaraLillith Stone
Clara nodded at Lilith’s question, nodding to the aforementioned man with a smile as he waved back. “Yeah, we met a little while ago in a little café just like this one,” Clara would explain, smile still on her face. “Back then I was all beat up and sore about being unable to compete in the Exams, I went looking for some sweets to drown my sorrows in and then him and... some other guy I don’t know the name of fell out of sky.” She laughed, before she thought about the event further. “Oh, uh, Riley didn’t fall out of the sky...Isaac, I think his name was.” Clara nodded to herself, believing she recalled the event properly. “That’s the one who did.”
“As for what I’m doing here...” Clara trailed off, “Shopping for the family, I guess. I live in the region, a bit of a ways off from the town, ‘bout a day or so. I figured I’m the traveler, so I’d pick up what they need.” She explained. She then took another bite out of her ice cream, before turning back to the other two. “So how do you two know each other?” She asked, shooting forward her own question.

[attr="class","lilithstonetext"] Lillith would listen as Riley told her that he actually was on a magic knight business patrolling to make make sure everything was fine. The crimson haired girl would laugh as she nodded her head. He would then go on to explain he hadn't really done much other then going on a mission with a purple orca a while back. It seemed like she had a most interesting few day then he had. Claire would then go on to explain how her and Riley met at a place similar to this one after someone fell from the sky. She would then answer Riley's question of what the two of them were doing here. She would also ask how Lillith and Riley met. Before Lillith answered her question she would back track on conversion a little.
"Riley were do find these people that you meet actually I'm not sure I'm ready for whatever crazy answer you have. As for what I'm doing I'm taking a break from the life of an adventurer since it seems I've had a more eventful few days then you have." Lillith would then turn and smile at Clara. "Sorry about that so you want to know how I met Riley. Well it was a few months ago when I was catching up with my twin sister we were walking around the town of Sliva when we ran into Riley who was sneaking out of his house. He was looking for something to do so we left me join us a we went to a place to get a drink. It was a nice place but as we were talking for some reason the place would catch on fire. So we all left but it turns out mister magic knight over here helped put the fire out with his magic.

Riley listened as Clara spoke about the day she met Riley and Isaac. The Silva remembered it pretty well too. He laughed a bit when she had to clarify that only Isaac was the one who had fallen out of the sky. She then went on to talk about what she was doing in the common region. She talked about how she was shopping for her family members back home. She lived in the region, but it was apparently still a day or so away from where they currently were in Kikka. The Silva found a concept like that pretty interesting. He’d never had to shop for his family, then again, not like they would appreciate it much if he did decide to bring them stuff. His sister on the other hand… she would be more likely to accept a gift from him. "Well that seems like a pretty nice thing to do Clara. I'm sure they'll like the things you get them." he said. As Clara came to the end of her explanation, she asked how the two of them knew each other. Lillith was the one who answered. Before explaining, the gemstone mage made a comment about the types of people that he’d met. The Silva let out a small chuckle, smiling sheepishly at the remark. She was right after all. Though, as unique as some of the people were, he wasn’t ever bored when he was around them. She mentioned that she was taking a break from being an adventurer for a while. The Silva didn’t think too much of it, he just hoped it didn’t mean that she was giving up on being a Magic Knight or anything crazy like that.
Lillith then began to recap the events on the day that he met her and Megumi. As funny as it was, Riley remembered that day as well, even though it was a week or so before the exams. For some reasons, the meetings he had with new people always had some crazy flare to them… like burning buildings or human meteors. He smiled as the redhead told the story. The teen nodded towards the end when she mentioned that he put out the fire. “Yeah I guess I was just lucky to be there when it happened.” he admitted. The Silva took a drink of his water. “Oh yeah… and I even got dragged along to go dress shopping with Lillith and her sister. It wasn’t the… ideal day or anything, but it was still fun. Besides, it all led up to that big party with all the nobles….” the teen started, before his expression changed to a frown as he thought about it. “...which was kind of also a mess the more I think about it.” he finished. There was the issue with the boy that Lillith was talking to, not to mention the couple of guys who tried to mess with Megumi, and also a couple of other troublemakers among those at the party. Riley let out a sigh, “Yeahhh our generation is gonna be the end of the kingdom as we know it.” he said jokingly. [break][break] WC: 522|TWC: 1,432|ClaraLillith Stone
