It was another bright and cheerful morning for Isabelle. She woke up on the right side of the bed today, which was great because it was better than waking up on the floor. Not only that, but shortly after waking up, she was informed that she would be attempting the training dungeon again. With Jolyne again, which did nothing but increase her mood. She understood that something must have come up the last time to cause Jolyne to abandon the dungeon mid floor, so she was more than willing to do it again. She made sure to strap on her boots extra tight today, because she was also informed that it would just be the two of them. There would be no third member this time. So she knew that she would have to really try her hardest today. She remembered in the past when the two of them got dinner that she had told Jolyne she wanted to one day be strong enough to help someone. And it seemed like today would be that day. It was time for Isabelle to prove her words weren't just false hopes, that she actually was trying to get stronger. And so grabbing her newfound item, it was time for her to give it a try. Strapping it to her arm, she then put on her cloak, because she was definitely going to need it today.
After eating a breakfast of eggs and toast, with a glass of milk to wash it down, she began to make her way from the base towards the dungeon. Luckily, it was close enough to the base that she didn't have to walk particularly long. So after just a short stroll over, she waited for Jolyne. Luckily, she did not have to wait long, Jolyne arrived promptly, looking as sharp and muscular as ever. "Hi again Jolyne!" Isabelle would say, waving to her. Jolyne would see Isabelle as she had before, with her cloak and clothes, her single long ponytail traipsing down her entire backside, but this time, her left arm had a fur covering it. It was a white wolf's leg that extended from her elbow down to her hand. Though it didn't have claws on the end. Excited to show off her newfound power to Jolyne, as soon as Jolyne was done with her greetings, Isabelle would jump in. "I got this really cool magic item when I went out to do a dungeon with these two people. Silas and Sabrina! Silas was tall and cool, but then he threw me so hes a jerk. But Sabrina was sweet, she punched the enemies so that I could eat them. I mostly just held things in place while they did the actual things, but I got this in the end!" As she said this, she held up the paw and was waving it around, as if Jolyne wouldn't be able to see it any other way. "And she found a really cool sword!" As she was talking, her speech was getting faster and faster. Her eyes could practically be seen sparkling as she described how cool she found the experience with the other two. "But now I'm just happy that we get to do this one again!" She said, her smile as bright as ever. "Oh, and it also does this really cool thing too! Heel." As she says this you would notice a white wolf appear next to her. It is pure white, with a small amount of mist constantly coming from it. You can see mist being exhaled from its nose in rhythm with it's chest, as if its actually living. It's baby blue eyes are looking forward, not at anything in particular. Just blankly into the distance. She then turns to it, petting it's side. "Neat right?" She says, giving a big smile to Jolyne. I haven't actually tried him in combat yet, but hes taller than me so he must be pretty good right? As she says this she would clamber on top of the 5 foot beast, now riding him. "Let's head in shall we?" As she says this she rides the golemn towards the large bronze doors, opening them with ease from her new height, entering into the darkness.
- Enter dungeon -
As the two of them, well, three of them, begin to enter the dungeon, Isabelle looks around in amazement. The dungeon is completely different from the last time the two of them had been in here. The last time it had been hot and humid, she remembered how much she hated it. It gave her hair all sorts of issues. Now instead, it was rather large and echo-y. Instead of a jungle, the group found themselves in a giant cave. It's walls glistening with different gemstones, illuminating their way through the entrance of the dungeon. The ground was rough, as if the years had taken its toll on them, and covered in stalagmites. The ceiling, was somewhat similar in its dishevel. It had stalactites, that were slowly dripping water from the ceiling. This was the only cause for noise in the cavern, except for their footsteps.
As Isabelle was marching through, she remembered that the last time they were here, the lizards had attempted to attack from above, and so she was keeping her eyes peeled on the ceiling. And sure enough, after a few hundred feet of walking, she saw a pair of eyes, glowing from the ceiling. "There!" She would shout, as it dropped off the ceiling, attempting to swing its massive sword and cleave her in two. Sliding off her wolf though, she was able to slip under the attempted slice. "Attack!" She would shout to her wolf, which ran up and tackled a lizard, biting and clawing at its face. The lizard of course, was fighting back. Attempting to throw this giant beast off of it. It did eventually succeed, however the wolf was now imposing itself between itself and Isabelle. That will hold the one up for awhile, Isabelle thought to herself. Now about the others though.
As she turned to face the other pairs of eyes that were dropping off the ceiling. With a few thuds, and one crash, she saw pairs of glowing yellow eyes begin to form in the darkness ahead of them. "There's the rest of them!" She would call out to Jolyne and pointing into the not so distant. Especially since the lizards were now charging at the two of them. Well, now's as good a time as ever to show off some of my new magic. "Friendemy!" She would shout, and the lead lizard would start to slow down slightly. It would then turn and immediately begin attacking the lizard to his right. The lizard of course, was not expecting this and was quickly being gutted, though Isabelle was slightly surprised that their own hex magic didn't seem to have an effect on others of their kind. Maybe it's just imbued into their blood? She was thinking, but now wasn't the time to be thinking too heavily, because she was already starting to feel somewhat tired, having to use all this mana right off the bat was having its toll on her already. And so rather than attempting to focus on attacking the lizards, she decided that for now, she would focus on defending, and making sure she wouldn't get hit. The new lead lizard was now bringing up its massive hammer for a death blow, with a large wind up, it attempted to smash into Isabelle and make her a paste against the floor, however, due to it's massive wind up, it was quite easy to dodge. The follow up swing from his other fist however, was narrowly avoided. Her short stature actually coming in handy, as she rolled under it and behind a nearby stalagmite. She would then attempt to survey the room with the moment she had while the lizard on her was attempting to pick its hammer back out of the crater it had created.
She saw her wolf sparing with the lizard, though the lizard was looking quite the worse for wear. Her lizard was midst gutting the one it had taken by surprise, so one lizard down. She nodded her head to that thought. And then there was the one she was fighting, and the one fighting Jolyne. So at least all the lizards were accounted for. Or at least so she thought. As she felt a massive force hitting her back, as a sixth lizard entered the fray. "Gah!" She shouted, as she rolled across the ground, coming to rest in the middle of the floor. As she looked the two lizards were starting to prepare a spell each, aiming at her wolf, since that was the biggest of the three enemies the lizards were fighting. However, when they fired the spells, it merely bounced off his white hide, their spells not being able to penetrate it. And the lizards were clearly confused at this, as the wolf then proceeded to finish gutting the lizard it was fighting, and turning to face the two that had just tried to hurt it, growling at them. "Good boy! Attack!" She would shout to it. Hopefully Jolyne was doing better than she was, she hoped as she stood up.

Oil of Perdition
For preparation Jolyne donned both her Magic Knight Mantle and her new Gauntlets, the mechanical contraptions would envelope most of her arm in a giant fist but would deal quite the damage output in comparison to her own hands. They were Crimson much like her lineage would allow and stood out in stark contrast to her silver mantle and royal blue overcoat that she wore on this day. Along with this she tied her hair back under a black skull cap along with black spandex underneath the coat covering her legs and most of her torso, on her feet she wore boots with a heavy grip for whatever type of ground this magical dungeon would end up tossing their way. Jolyne was determined to finish this dungeon, the last time she got an extremely eerie feeling from one of the compatriots to the caravan she was within, for no greater reason than that she had departed. While she would ride it through the next occurrence, the muscled woman still felt it within her right to reserve such an action as a possibility.
Having already ate the woman would stride out of her small home and into the crisp winter morning, the frozen air greeting her lungs with a refreshing course of cooling the material that made up her throat. The lower temperature actually slowly killing some things triggering a synaptic response of slight alertness. Deciding to destroy some more of the present physical material in order to lay the burnt forest of a ground work in which to build new cells the tall woman would withdraw a Black Bull cigarette from her pack and light it with a crimson lighter in her left hand which did not have it's gauntlet down.
"Hail small one of great stature!" Jolyne would respond to her friend whom now possessed a very fetching white wolf paw, at least that's what it looked like. White and biological as opposed to Jolyne's red and mechanical fist the Vermillion could not help but let out a small chuckle at the fact the two had unintentionally synergized again. Perhaps fate had brought the two similar and slightly opposite together for more than just crushing a training dungeon. Time seemed to have a poetic quality to it after all.
"Silas is a jerk and Sabrina is a golden girl who brings food, and that's how you became a wolf kin?" Jolyne seemed to get the first part down easily enough but she was uncertain now if this item was now a part of Isabelle's physiology. "Is it a wolf sword? Does it turn into a wolf? CAN YOU RIDE IT LIKE A WOLF?" growing more excited as Isabelle did, soon the much larger woman would be jumping up and down in place as she demanded answers to these questions and doubtlessly countless others. While she was excited it would not obscure the earlier notes that she had mentally cataloged about the two Isabelle had spoken about, it seemed as if that information had potential future implications.
Of course all of Jolyne Vermillion's expectations would be blown away when her smaller friend summoned a wolf to her side, now this was extremely interesting to note and another parallel though Jolyne would not reveal her stand until it was require. Killer Queen drained quite a bit of magical energy to be in use after all and if it had a mind of it's own it would chide Jolyne for such uses of itself. Placing her hands above her knees the muscular Vermillion would bend forward to admire the wolf more, noting the breathing like effects placed upon what was no doubt a golem. It was creative, impressive and indeed very neat. "I love it" Jolyne responded back with a tone of hushed awe at the object of the conversation. As her friend ascended the glacial titan's side the duo would shift focus towards the dungeon itself.
"Yes let's" Jolyne would respond following in lock step with the wolf who was gliding forward now on graceful legs carrying Isabelle into the dungeon proper.
Well at least a cave would allow less places for hiding and ambush potential but the acoustics could be thrown quite a bit in such an environment, while she had her animalistic senses even she would need to compensate for this or be confused by the ensuing combat that would no doubt occur in this place. With another step Jolyne would then have both arms covered by large metallic red fists as if she was some form of Saint Anger.
As the first lizard would descend Jolyne would skirt herself up and alongside the cavern's wall knowing Isabelle and her wolf could handle what was no doubt the distraction to a larger group, scanning the room with her senses Jolyne confirmed this and then took off silently after the rear of the group heading towards Isabelle.
The first skull was much easier to crush this time, after two grasps, and honestly the first was for a better grip the head exploded like an overripe fruit in Jolyne's hand whom's aubergine eyes grew wide in shock and then reflected a sickening smile of joy that spread over her. The first time she needed to strike far too many times to inflict any substantial amount of damage on these beasts, but now with the metallic contraptions upon her forearms and hands she could deal with the scaling pests quite a bit easier. However after dealing with this Jolyne would notice that her attention was needed more immediately as the other lizards were completely immune to the knowledge of their compatriot's death having focused too much on the wolf in the center of their space. As such she would engage with the next closest Lizard at the same time Isabelle would dodge a hammer blow and scan the room assessing their situation.
A quick left jab was delivered as Jolyne Vermillion ducked what was a heavy horizontal chop with a crude axe delivered by the Lizardman she had closed into melee distance with, this caused the creature to skitter to the side and open itself to a right hook that ripped the thing's upper torso from it's body and launched the biomass across the room covering the area with a crimson liquid and interrupting the Lizard who had rammed into Isabelle from pursuing her further. This would give her some time to assess it, as now there were no casters for her wolf to deal with Jolyne was certain that Isabelle no longer needed her possessed Lizard and would rather save the mana and so it was with two twists along it's neck Jolyne killed the beast from behind effectively and without additional suffering as she would put down any animals.
And so it would be that there was only one Lizard to deal with in this room, Jolyne had full confidence in Isabelle and her wolf and their ability to deal with a single foe.
With that in mind Jolyne would approach in her consideration of how to deal with the next room, would there be more things in there? Doubtlessly, perhaps there would be some physical obstacles in place this time to allow for a bit more of strategy to play into combat that these two could now easily handle. The two had grown quite a bit since the first time they had entered this dungeon after all, it was a road of growth that while short was also extremely noticeable now upon the return. What was before quite a task was now child's play for Jolyne, it had taken her so much longer to finish off the Lizards before she gained the gloves that now graced her mitts. Now it was a simple matter in comparison, it was as easy as waving her arms through the air. The Blonde haired Oil Mage was used to fighting opponents that were much stronger than her own self so it was extremely odd whenever she got into a fight in which she had extreme advantage over her opponent. This did not even hold the challenge of a one and one and was more akin to baseless slaughter than a fight, if the Lizardmen had not initiated the assault the woman would doubtlessly feel much worse about the situation but as it was now she instead viewed it as herself cleaning up things that could harm others. To her this was akin to healing a disease now rather than a fight for her own survival. These things could pose quite a threat to the average citizen even though they were naught but a fly to her now and thus she would have to destroy these things to ensure the safety of those around her. The strong protecting the weak was a core pillar to the foundation of Jolyne's moral core after all and she could not lose that or be forced with the task of completely restructuring herself, a task which she did not wish to repeat.

As Isabelle finally began to observer her surroundings more, looking for the rest of the lizards, she noticed the pile of bodies on the floor had grown considerably since the last time she had checked. In fact, now there was only one lizard left. Which was quite easily dispatched of, seeing her wolf running over and immediately begin to tear into it, knocking it over. With the wolf on the ground, Isabelle took a small run up before jumping into the air, bringing her heel down on the lizard's head. She then delivered another quick kick onto its neck, followed by two punches to its head, ending its life. Noticing that Jolyne had already dispatched the others, she looked around for her. "This feels so much easier now doesn't it?" She would say, as she also called her wolf to her side. "Come on, we got more cavern to explore." She would say as she noticed a light at the end of the room, showing where the next branch of the floor was.
----- Start Room 2 -----
Walking through the winding hallway, she was surprised when they came to the next room in the cave. It was not anything like the last room at all. They walked into a massive, cavernous expanse. While there were still stalactites hanging from the ceiling, the floor was actually completely clear of all obstacles. Taking up over three quarters of the room however, was a massive lake. It extended from the back left wall, and covered almost everything except for the top right corner where they were. They were connected directly to the hallway that led further into the dungeon. However, between them and the hallway, were four more of the cavern lizards. Having no place to be hiding, they were simply sitting around, waiting for someone to come. And their supposed prey had just arrived. They began to stand up, brandishing claws, and brutally over-sized weapons. "Well, I think that's our next enemy." She says as she points to them, though it is blatantly obvious.
The lizards, wasting no time, immediately began charging towards the two of them. "Would you care to take the lead this time?" Isabelle would say, looking to Jolyne. Isabelle figured if they alternated who led in which room, it was only fair. That way one person wasn't carrying too much of the load at once.

Oil of Perdition
Jolyne noticed Isabelle's wolf streaking towards the last lizard man as if it was the last piece of pizza that it had not paid for (but dammit it would still grab at it anyways), and with that the Oil Mage knew she had time to clean the blood off of herself before it became too matted to her clothes and would stain orange. It was extremely annoying to try and get bloodstains out once they had set in after all, and so it was that the Vermillion was cleaning as she respond to Isabelle "Yeah ridiculously easier too I would say, it must be your new buddy. Lead on fearless leader" Jolyne would chuckle at the end of her second sentence, face alight like a sunflower in the joy that she felt going through this trial with her friend. Following behind by six or so paces Jolyne would notice the light that they were heading towards and wondered how many more torches there would be before they descended into pure darkness.
8=============D Second Floor C==========8
"Of course my dear, do conserve your mana on this one until they break past me, I'm gonna try something really fun. Have you ever heard about what happens when super heated oil comes into contact with water? Well no matter, you're about to find out" Jolyne chirped as she bounced forward her grimoire springing to life with a dark purple hue as she extended her right arm and the book jumped into her outstretched hand. Coming up to the lake's edge as the lizard men would be running through the edges of the pool to charge at her. Isabelle was a good thirty meters behind in the massive room and as such she would not be affected, either would these lizards yet and so Jolyne would wait three breaths before casting her spell.
With a burst of sickly orange and purple light a lump of oil would appear under the lake's surface in between the four humanoids whom were mindlessly rushing forward at this point. The oil would be superheated and Jolyne's reaction time would not be fast enough to tell the oil to explode before it did as it came into contact with the water and instantly the explosion would occur, the time to expand would be much more rapid yet still could be witnessed by the eye as even Jolyne was swallowed up(but not harmed)by the giant burst of light, steam carrying oil straight onto the four bodies of those that it could harm and coating them in now steam pressed on oil, Jolyne was literally baking the enemies there and she would simply need to hold the spell for the duration. The pain would be far too intense for anything without some special perk or physiology to move in this and Jolyne would not need to move in order to keep the spell fueled. While it was not the most mana efficient way of disposing of her enemies it certainly was a flashy one and would no doubt cause quite a ruckus for the enemies in the next room to quake to before the dynamic duo descended upon them.

Watching as Jolyne took a step up to the plate, both metaphorically as well as physically, she cast a spell out into the lake. Isabelle watched as the lizards began screaming. Boiling oil had settled on top of the lake. They were quite literally, being cooked alive. She doesn't know if she had ever heard any screams as painful as the ones the lizards were currently emitting. She nearly wanted to vomit. However, it did not seem to even faze Jolyne nearly as much as it was to Isabelle. Maybe she had done this before? She knew it wasn't the last time. They had not made it into the second room previously, and the first room looked nothing like what it did now.
Isabelle wanted to cry out, and ask Jolyne to stop. The lizards were struggling to even move at this point, the oil resting on top of the water was slowing their movements. But it was so hot, she had no idea how Jolyne was standing as close to this as she was. The lizards, slowed by her approach, would eventually drop dead. Jolyne would turn and face Isabelle, giving her a big thumbs up. Isabelle, would give a weak one back. The room reeked now, and she started to vomit. Between the screams and the smell, Isabelle was afraid that she couldn't go on. Jolyne, reluctantly understood. Isabelle apologizing the entire way. Especially since Jolyne took it upon herself to carry Isabelle out of the dungeon. The entire way, Isabelle apologized profusely. Claiming she must be ill and not knowing what came over her. Though she doubted that her lies were really fooling Jolyne, She was much too sharp for that. As they walked out, Isabelle apologized that they would once again, have to leave early. Promising that the two of them would complete it one day!
