Spending the majority of his recent time with his partner, Sprider of Crimson Lion, Jett had realised just how little he had interacted with any other members of his squad. Admittedly he alienated himself soon after joining, almost accusing two of it's members as spies though his suspicions bore fruit as he revealed a Diamond spy. Still, the act left him isolated in his new team and it was time to do something about it. Other than those members Jett had already carried out a mission with Tetsuya, one of the more exceptional members given the circumstances of him joining the squad and he had been the reason that Alluka had been able to join the squad, passing on his seal of approval to the captain. Alone in his room, Jett thought of ways to get to know his colleagues and maybe build up relationships that may one day save his life. Jett though back to the thousands of books he'd read other the years, from self help books to romances novels to works of complete fantasy, nothing really helped in his current situation. Story books would often have characters interact through chance meetings which was practical for story sake but wasn't something that really happened too often in real life. The self help books would list ways to make friends in the most desperate ways that would drive off most of the members in the squad. What he had to do was come up with something original that would get people to interact with himself but he was flat out of idea, so instead he headed for the main hall.
The main hall of the guild was filled with many tables lined with benches, in the hall was a mission board for any one looking for a job. The hall itself was filled with people, some taking missions, other returning from them, you could tell by their faces if they were successful or not. Many others in the hall would just gather to talk and mingle amongst one another, Jett would walk by a few groups and listen in on their conversations to see if there was anything he could just jump in on and involve himself. Unfortunately, his lifetime of reading books had left him wanting when it came to social interactions, even when he heard something he could weigh in on, he would spend so long thinking of what to say that he would miss his opportunity to speak. Jett instead took himself to a table sat by himself as he watched the people around him, perhaps by people watching he could learn what ever skills was necessary. Sitting alone for an hour watching people taught him nothing and earned him nothing other than strange looks from his peers, setting him even further away from his goal. Giving up Jett decided to test out his latest magic, he'd felt it for a while but he had yet to test it out. He felt a life of sorts coming from his grimoire, he figured that feeling stemmed from golem magic. Researching it, it was a common feeling golem users would get from their magic despite their spells not being anything other than lifeless dolls. Jett leaned down low on the table as he concentrated on his magic, three tiny diamond figures spawned on the table, taking the form of three men. Jett was able to give them verbal commands as they walked along the table before reaching the end and falling off, smashing out of existence as they hit the floor. Golems would carry out their orders despite any threat to their own well being and anything that would be a obvious danger and cause to stop to a person would be ignored by a golem, their master's orders being absolute. Jett again form three small diamond men on the table and had them move forwards, this time he ordered them to stop just before they reached the tables edge, a step or two after the order was given the figures stop dead in their tracks. The simple experiment with his magic had brought an almost child like joy to Jett but he wanted to take it further, this time giving the golems their own specific individual orders. Each figure took off in separate directions, one stopping at a different corner of the table. Jett was engrossed in what he was doing that he forgot his original goal of the day, ordering each of his golems to attack as they charged at each other in a fight to the death.
